One question I am asked a lot is “Is it better to buy a home or rent?” That question was always assumed as a no brainer prior to the Great Recession.  The short answer is that it depends on where you live . The more accurate answer takes into account the current rental rates compared to the financing rates, how long you intend to own the home, and many other lifestyle and financial factors.
